Our local company was born in 2019, but our origins stretch much further back…
Fritz Zumbrunnen was born in Thun, Switzerland which is a beautiful village by the lake near Interlaken. He grew up to be a highly skilled woodworker and became renowned for his wood carving skills. Then in 1862, he moved to England with his family and later Albert Zumbrunnen took over the family business.
Albert moved to Leamington Spa and here he was joined by his nephew William Lewis in 1946. William married Olivia in 1952, and our Company is named after her father Oliver. Today, their son Robert Lewis runs the business and has over 40 years of experience in crafting bespoke fitted furniture.
Our brand as it is today took shape in 2019, and we opened our first showroom in Pershore, Worcestershire towards the end of the year. It is located on the high street and it gives our customers the opportunity to view the variety of furniture options we have to offer.
With the success of the first outlet, Olivers went on to open a second showroom at the start of 2020 in the Wylde Green area of Sutton Coldfield. This location enabled more styles, designs, and accessories to be displayed.
A few weeks after our second showroom opening, we then added a third to the family! This time in the South Warwickshire market town of Shipston-on-Stour. All three of our showrooms are great places for our customers to visit and find out more about our custom furniture designs.
